Practice
Izolda is a director and co-founder of the Cape Town Cosmetic Dermatology Centre and is currently in full-time private practice.
Interests
Due to her passion for teaching, she holds an Honorary Consultant’s position in Aesthetics at Stellenbosch University, where she pioneered formal aesthetic training for Dermatologists.
Over the past 3 years, she instituted the Short Course in Cosmetic Dermatology (SCCD) for qualified Dermatologists as well as the Dermatology Aesthetic Review Meetings (DARM), which have now evolved to include multiple fraternities at national meetings.
She has also instituted formal registrar training (RATS) for the registrars of both Cape Town and Stellenbosch Universities, an initiative that is to extend to the University of KwaZulu-Natal as of 2017.
